VHS:
Black Diamond Classic:
This was the first ever vhs copy of (The Little Mermaid) it was released sometime in 1990, when it was recalled to go the Disney vault some people claimed it was because of the art of the castle on the cover,due that it had some adult pornography in it.

Masterpiece Special Edition:
This was the 2nd release of the movie in 1997, it was some how restored and had better quality and sound than the 1st edition.

The Little Mermaid 2:
This was the one and only VHS released for (The Little Mermaid 2) it was released back in 2000 as a direct to video sequal.

The Little Mermaid Adventures:
In 1991 Disney Home Videos released their (Little Mermaid Adventures) videos, The UK had from Volume 1 to 7, while the rest of the world had from Volume 1 to 5, Each volume had 2 different episodes of The Little Mermaid Series.

     

   

Disney Princess Collection:
In 2001 Disney released 8 videos of the "Disney Princess Collection" giving each princess her own video tape with her own adventures, Ariel had 2 videos each had 2 episodes from The Little Mermaid Series.

 

More Little Mermaid Adventures:
In Japan and Asia they had 2 different videos than the ones in the US & UK, One was called "Heroes" and the other "Tale Of 2 Crabs", each video had 2 different episodes of The Little Mermaid Series.

 

Rare Little Mermaid Videos:
2 Rare Sebastian videos were out in 1991 one was called (Sebastian's Caribbean Jamboree) and the other was called (Sebastian's Party Gras) they both were live concerts of people dressed as characters from the movie singing songs that were released in albums with the same titles, While a rare video tape of Little Mermaid called (Little Mermaid Series) was out in the UK in 1995 that had 2 episodes from The Little Mermaid Series.

   

The Little Mermaid Sing Along Songs:
In 1990 a (Sing Along) video was released with the movie premiering on VHS that had songs from the movie attached with lyrics on screen to learn the song words, In the 1997 re-release they made a new cover for the video adding to it some more songs from the modern Disney classics.

 

DVD:
Limited Issue DVD:
In 1999 (The Little Mermaid) made its premiere on Disney DVD,though the "Limited Issue" text written on the DVD didnt mean anything since it was the same version of the 1997 VHS release but this time on Disc.

The Little Mermaid 2:
In 2000 (The Little Mermaid 2) premiered on both VHS and DVD, as the DVD had an extra game and a small Disney short classic called (Merbabies).

2-Disc Platinum Edition:
In 2006 (The Little Mermaid) was out again on DVD this time with a fully restored picture and sound plus an extra disc packed with behind the scences and extras on the movie.

The Little Mermaid 3:
In 2008 the highly awaited 3rd Little Mermaid movie came out, Ariel's Beginning came out for the first time on DVD and had some deleted scenes along with clips of the making, plus a backstage interview with the Little Mermaid on Broadway cast.

The Little Mermaid 2: Special Edition
In late 2008 The Little Mermaid 2 was re-released on DVD having the same extras it had a few years ago, but this time a deleted song was added to the DVD, not to mention alot animation mistakes has been fixed especially notable in Ariel's sisters and the scene Ariel trasforms into a mermaid.

The Little Mermaid Trilogy
In late 2008 a few months before The Little Mermaid goes back to the Disney Vault a box set with all 3 movies "Little Mermaid 2 Disc Platinum Editons", "Little Mermaid 2 : Special Edtion" and "Ariel's Beginning" was released in a Little Mermaid Trilogy box set that also had 4 free lithographs.

Disney Princess Stories & Sing Alongs:
In 2004 Disney started releasing their lines of (Disney Princess Stories) and (Disney Princess Sing Alongs) each was packed with clips and episodes of Ariel and the other princess from their movies and series, As a new way to attract the new generation with well known characters.
